Administrative structure

The Pravian Imperium is the dominant and only nation on the continent.

With a population of approximately 55 million, it lays its claim to the entirety of the continent – despite most of its population living in a very small portion of its territory.

The Pravian Imperium can be accurately described as an “Absolutist Monarchy & Theocracy”, with the Holy Governor as its monarch and religious head. A system for changing monarchs has not been established due to the immortal nature of its leader. His ministers are titled as “Faith Keepers” and they aid in managing the country and its many needs.

The country is split into 8 administrative regions called Fragmens. Each Fragmen is governed by a Head Director, which are hand-picked by the Holy Governor and his Faith Keepers to manage the territories. Head directors, similarly to the Holy Governor, hold near absolute power in managing their region, including choosing their own advisors and ministers in managing their territory. They do have to uphold to the laws set for the entire Imperium but can write local laws if they don’t counter those of the Pravian Imperium.

Economy

The nation’s economy is staunchly capitalistic with low taxation. Its biggest industry is magical development & wineries which the Holy Governor has been known to favor.

Most city development is along the Imperial Highway due to the high costs of teleportation and large distances.

The populations diet is primarily plant based, but meat is not a rarity and can be found on the table at least once a week.

Magical items are uncommon for the peasantry, but the middle class usually own simple magical items. In cities they make up for it in clever architectonic designs, such as centralized heating connecting multiple houses.

Transportation

The country is well known for its igsan Imperial Highway spanning most of its territory. Most of its cities reside close or upon it.

Teleportation in the Imperium is limited to the Clergy & Nobility, and is incredibly costly.
