Game Stats

Static game stats and other stats

Some of your stats are going to be the same, no matter what character you play.
Your base speed is 30 ft.
Your size is a basic 5×5 ft., meaning you take up 1 square.
All other stats are dictated by your roles, and can be found in the table below.
For PL, FP and points, the highest stat applies. Do not stack them, unless there is a + sign. For HP, skills and knowledges, you determine the exact number by using the formula and plugging in the relevant attribute. The attribute in question is always used, even if negative. Once again, do not stack them, unless there is a + sign. For equipment, you gain every item once from all roles you have. If multiple roles give you the same item, you get it multiple times (you are not guaranteed that you will be able to utilize all of them at the same time). However, you must buy most of your equipment with Glinars, the server currency.

Stat meanings

Player level (PL)
PL tells you how powerful of a person you are. The higher your PL is, the more abilities you have, the more spells you have, the more HP you have, overall, the better at doing stuff you are. PL is dictated by your highest role on the server. Whenever anything references PL, it means the number.
The most important thing that Player level is used for is determining your maximum attribute cap and level in a class. Beware, this is not a “total of all classes level summed up” cap. This is a “total level of any one class” cap. If you have multiple classes thanks to multiclassing, each may go up to your Player level (as long as you have the FP for all active abilities).

Hit Points (HP)
Hit points (also called health points) define how much of a beating you can take before you plop over dead. It is a combination of your physical and mental health, will to live and luck. If you ever hit 0 HP, you die. Therefore, the more hit points you have, the better. The loss of hit points itself does not affect your capabilities, except for bringing you closer to death. If you can use multiple health calculations, use the one that gives you the highest health.

Faith Points (FP)
FP is used to cast spells, activate active abilities, and get additional uses of certain abilities. Your highest role tells you how much FP you have at maximum. Your FP resets upon finishing a long rest.

Points
You have a certain amount of points that you can use to determine your core attributes. Those are decided via a point-buy system, on which further details can be found at the Attributes and Modifiers page. All modifiers start at a base of -2. The attribute average column assumes equal distribution across all 5 stats and can be used when having trouble deciding.
When creatures with the Unlimited amount of points make any d20 roll using one of the base of derived modifiers, they can choose if they automatically succeed, automatically fail, or if they want to roll. When they want to roll, they can decide what their modifier will be, ranging from -20 to +20. They cannot decide to switch to auto success or auto fail after rolling.

Skills and Knowledges
Skills are the proficiencies and expertise in a certain area of work. Knowledges are the experience and information on a certain topic. The number of both are decided by a calculation from your highest role. You can find more rules on them on the Skills and Knowledges page.

Equipment and Traits
Equipment is the actual physical stuff you have. It is mostly weapons and armor. You gain equipment from all the roles you have. Generic rules for equipment can be found on the Equipment Basics page.
Traits are innate abilities that are the result of what you are. Unlike most abilities, their effects are always active and cannot be “turned off”. Their effects are detailed below.

UnlimitedCreatures with the Unlimited trait can make literally anything appear from thin air, regardless of logic.

Imperfect ImmortalCreatures with the Imperfect Immortal trait have an innate DR of 10 and HP increased by 1300. If a creature with this ability is reduced to 0 HP, they do not die, but instead go into a catatonic state, further detailed on the Long rest and Death page.

Markings of HeresyCreatures with this trait have a harder time accomplishing tasks that are aimed against a member of the pravian faith. Whenever they make an Ability check that is directly competing with another Ability check of a believer of Pravus, the believer gains a bonus of half of their PL, rounded down. Whenever they make make an Attack roll against a believer of Pravus, the AC of the target increases by half of their PL, rounded down.
In addition, they are unable to activate any active or passive abilities and they cannot attune to magical items.
