Central Fragmen

Capital Ossanaha, Green border

The heart of the Imperium, this fragmen is home to more than half of the population. It’s nice moderate climate is ideal for farming, and provides food for almost the entire country.
Home to all the major government facilities, the capital of Ossanaha is strategically placed in the middle of the Imperial Highway.
Aside from farming, the famously indestructible Fort Hagan is found here – rumored to come out unscathed even by dragonfire. The keep serves as the biggest military base in the country, with close to a million soldiers stationed there at any moment.

Clan Fragmen

Capital Comum, Red border

Competing for the title of smallest fragmen by size, this is the heart of any major faction present in the Imperium. All major factions own at least a small town here, sometimes more, and the capital acts as a neutral ground for the negotiations that foster between the factions, closely overseen by the Peace Alliance Empire.
Lackluster in any major production, this fragmen focuses on entertainment – artists, poets, musicians of all sorts flock here. Perhaps the biggest show in the Imperium can be seen at the Arena, a behemoth of a building located at the end of the imperial highway. Owned by Tophat, the leader of BEAG and one of the Faith Keepers, this place is home to a plethora of shows of skill and blood, often including highly ranked members of the pravian army.

Edge Fragmen

Capital Vinovium, Cyan border

Occupying the east of the continent, this fragmen suffers from a similar fate as the Magical fragmen. Unlike it, it doesn’t house an enormous number of Inquisitors, nor does it posses abundant magical components.
However, this is the place where most of the magic happens – literally. Thanks to the nearby Dertosa forest and the edge of Sora, the capital is in an ideal place to acquire rare metals and herbs – two key components for crafting permanent magical items. And what unique materials they cannot get their hands on directly, they import.
This makes Vinovium also the best place to study magical arts, and almost all mages of the Imperium come from here. Aside from being a key research region, the place doubles as one of the best gateways to the Wild Fragmen, thanks to a relatively safe sea route and the ever so shorter mountains that make the border.

Faith Fragmen

Capital Alalia, Yellow border

The south most of the bunch, this fragmen consists of two distinct landmasses – the desert Napoca island and the savannas that spread across the islands close to the mainland. The main sea route goes through here, connecting the Trade Fragmen and the outbound colonies.
But whatever income does not come from offering safe passage to ships, the capital makes up in faith – the First temple of Pravus resides in this city. Second in population only to Ossanaha, most priests go through their training here, and major religious ceremonies are always held here.

Magical Fragmen

Capital Emona, Purple border

With the main headquarters of the Inquisitors located in their capital, this fragmen is anything but dull. With the two rivers Navia and Adana marking it’s border, the majority of this fragmen is the Attuatuca Tuder forest – a behemoth of a temperate rain forest, always ready to spit out new mysteries.
It then makes sense that this fragmen the second least explored. What little know is of great use – the herbs in this forest make the base for the majority of magical ingredients, crucial for the Imperium’s prosperity. Emona acts as the starting point for expeditions that aim to gather these herbs, as well discover new secrets.

Portal Fragmen

Capital Capsa, Blue border

This fragmen contains the lands where the men of today first walked upon the transfer, from the northernmost land of the continent, to the river Sufatula and the temperate forest of Bustra, the Firmum range being the border.
As the name suggest, the entrance portal still remains. Over the centuries, the cold tundra that this region used to be transformed into a sickly, orange-ish wasteland, and no one, not even the apostate dare to get near the portal unless necessary.
And so this fragmen is extremely sparsely populated, but it does not need too many people for the task it has – to be the first bell that rings and the first shield that protects if(when) something does come trough the portal. The guard castle at Stonesword Hilt has served this purpose for the better half of this millennium and Capsa provides the necessary reinforcements.

Trade Fragmen

Capital Raphae, Orange border

At the mouth of the Navia river, this fragmen is the heart of the Imperium when it comes to trade. The region is like a lake – a gigantic fat slab that Navia has yet to carve a main route through, roughly five meters deep… basically anywhere. The border between land and sea is indicated by the slab simply disappearing, giving way to sea. Paired with a gentle climate, the little ice that does form can be easily circled around.
As such, trade happens year wide, with ships from overseas territories coming in with resources and tributes, and outbound ships carrying complex craftsmanship and magical items. Land based travel still proves to be tricky, but the announcement of the elongation of the Imperial Highway is pumping everyone full of excitement.

Wild Fragmen

Capital Ossanaha, Brown border

The last on this list, this fragmen is controlled more in name.
Due to being cut off from the rest of the continent by the vast mountain range of Sora and Firmum, the land has no settlements of the Imperium’s making.
Not that it has not been tried, but the thin supply lines, the cruel nature of the taiga that is the Arminium Forest and the beast roaming these woods destroy any attempts after a few months, if the winters don’t do so sooner. However, this makes for an ideal region that those not friendly to the Imperium flock to. If you want an apostate, go here. The ruins of a castle next to the sea seem uninhabited, but are a fairly well done cover for whatever hides in there. Otherwise, the region is a good source of natural resources, such as rare metals, coal and wood. If you only ignore the monsters.
